PROGRESSION SYSTEM CHANGES ⚠️
Pilots, we've received a lot of feedback that the current aircraft progression system isn't always convenient and can take too much time. That's why we're updating the upgrade system and making some changes to how weapons are equipped. Here's what's changing.
You will no longer need to upgrade missiles, machine guns, and individual aircraft components separately. Instead, all upgrades will be handled through the Hangar using the "Upgrade" button.
Your aircraft's progression will now be displayed at the bottom of the screen. Each upgrade stage advances the aircraft one step further and, just like before, requires resources and time to complete.
As your aircraft develops, it will gain stat improvements, unlock additional missile and module slots, and gain access to new missile models that can be equipped on that aircraft.
In addition, upgrading an aircraft will also improve the performance of its weapons, including both missiles and machine guns.
Progression rewards are staying in place. You'll still earn in-game currency, cosmetic items, and champion chests for completing upgrade stages. Once an aircraft reaches its maximum level, you'll also unlock the ability to equip that aircraft's module on your other combat aircraft.
We're also making changes to the weapon loadout system. Each aircraft will now use a specific machine gun model and a curated selection of missiles chosen to match its unique characteristics and combat role.
Our goal is to make progression more engaging and easier to understand, while also making each aircraft feel more unique and emphasizing the differences between them.
This is not the final version of the system. We'll continue listening to your feedback and refining the aircraft progression experience in future updates.
